The one star review is for the male receptionist who was on shift at about 8pm on the 12.09.25. He is the most rudest customer service assistant I’ve ever dealt with in my life. I was gobsmacked with his attitude and his tone, it made me want to leave. However the receptionists on the morning after were lovely. If I’m honest everything was okay apart from that male staff member and I would not return back due to him. He needs serious training or needs to look for a new job.
This hotel over books rooms. I pre-paid for 1 night on the 10th September via Expedia website, 162 nights booked this year so far due to work with no issues. So I arrive at the hotel at 8pm to check in as I started work at 10pm to be told by the very rude and sour faced women on reception that there is no room for myself and that expedia have been trying to call me all day. I work nights and sleep in the day. Not even an apology from the sour face. Just put the blame onto expedia. Bull. This hotel over books rooms. AVOID.

Lovely afternoon tea for friends birthday nicely presented food with unlimited tea only slight niggle would be the scone could be bigger Amazing service by Vaz? (Think was his name?)
Es mutet eher einem Business Hotel an und ist sehr kühl. Die Zimmer sind klein und dunkel obwohl wir extra das Gartenzimmer gebucht haben. Das WC hat keine WC Papier Rollenhalter. Das Restaurant ist eine pure Enttäuschung. Es mutet eher einer Hotelbar mit ein paar Tischchen an. Keine Ahnung was sich der AA Inspektor hier vorgestellt hat. Äusserst arroganter Service im Restaurant welcher Kunden sogar korrogiert. Absolutes No-go! Wenn nochmals in Notringham würde ich in ein Hotel mit Charme und wirklich gutem Essen
