This is one of the few large and affordable hotels in downtown Washington. It is located minutes from the National Mall, the U.S. Capitol and many museums and attractions. The very basic accommodations are clean and comfortable. The hotel welcomes group reservations. The suites are great for families.

Very very nice. Great location
I loved that the hotel had a feeling of another time. The staff was friendly and the room was comfortable. They upgraded me to a bigger room when I was going for the cheaper option, which was very kind and generous. The location Is perfect for a tourist to walk just a couple blocks to the main attractions.
Location is the best! The price is also very nice. The building is old but the staff seems to take good care of the rooms. They are clean and provided us with a place to rest.

Right in the heart of Downtown Washington, D.C., within walking distance of every major attraction. Hotel was worth it for this reason alone.
Hotel was walking distance from the White house,Capitol, and The Smithsonian.
We stayed at the Hotel Harrington on our stay in DC. It is centrally located to everything. Although it is the oldest hotel in DC, it was very clean. We could walk to a lot of things. It was just across the street from the Old Time Trolley. I wouldn't wanted to stay anywhere else.
We want a clean, comfortable room to store our stuff, take a shower, and sleep that's conveniently located to most attractions or a means to get to those attractions - PERIOD.
I'm actually a big fan of the Harry's restaurant in this hotel but this was my first time staying at the Hotel Harrington. I enjoyed my stay.
