AVOID AVOID AVOID. I had a breast augmentation here about 3 weeks ago and what an absolute regret that was. You walk into this lovely reception that’s very posh and very professional looking. Then you get showed to your room which if you’re lucky enough a family member can come with you. DO NOT ATTEND THIS HOSPITAL!! I had a terrible experience at Harley Health Village. They "pride" themselves on being a private hospital but the whole experience was far from what you would expect from a private hospital. Felt like a back alley clinic. After I complained, I had phone call from a very argumentative clinician who kept telling me how high up he was in the hospital! They continued to argue their case and ultimately decided that they did nothing wrong. Avoid this hospital at all costs!
I wish I had the name of the after Op nurse because she was amazing, really kind and attentive. I had a great experience here. Everything was well explained and thorough. The medical staff I met along the way were lovely, I had a few laughs with them which really lightened the mood and any anxiety I had going into the procedure. My anaesthetist was great, full of chat and reassuring. After surgery I recovered well, had my lunch (the chicken and avocado sandwich is great) and had my vitals checked for a couple of hours. Rude staff
My surgeon was fantastic so This doesn’t apply to him. The after care from the night nurses was awful. I think she was a care assistant. She was so rude and spoke to me very apruply. I just had tummy tuck etc so couldn’t move well and she said “get up” no help nothing. I had a lot of flid mixed with blood over bed suck through to maattes - I asked if that’s normal she said “think so” and took a photo on her phone! Told me to get in bed and go to sleep at 10pm.
