We always eat there when in Memphis... yesterday we were upstairs and tucked in the back.... the waitress Jana was busy with tables but we had to ask for drink refills when she came to the table, and we had to request our check. The restaurant wasn't busy during the time we were dining. The food was good as always, but the customer service was not.

The music was great, but way too loud. Our server acted as if she would rather be anywhere but at work, which I understand, but if you're in sales, fake it til ya make it. The food was cold and tasted old. If you're going to serve BBQ in Memphis, at least use good meat, and make it worth eating. There are much better places to eat in Memphis, but we came for the experience. Too bad we paid such an exorbitant price for a little bit of ambience. Sooooo disappointed.

As for the food, we actually operate the only scratch-recipe kitchen on Beale Street.
