No Longer a hotel for the public. AS OF SEPTEMBER 2025. This building is part of the university housing now, they canceled my reservation I made months in advance.
Do not book. It will get canceled minutes after. They claim they no longer operate as a hotel and is being used for Pitt Housing. This is not reflected on app or website.
They just cancelled my reservation for the spring Pitt graduation with no explanation. Very poor form. I expect more from Hilton hotels.
They cancelled our reservation 2.5 weeks away for a college visit due to a change in hotel branding and ownership. EDIT- I am modifying my original review to reflect that the apparent last minute cancellation was due to University of Pittsburgh "renting out" the hotel to accommodate the overflow of 1st year students that the school does not have housing for. While I understand the situation, Hilton should have rebooked us somewhere nearby and/or offered us Hilton honors points for the inconvenience.
