Could be a great resort, if it was kept up. Bricks around the pools are loose and fell off when stepped on, handles on tub faucets came off in our hands, could not get hot water in master shower. Then you have the small putting greens, cost 5 dollars, only to not be able to play through 3 holes, due to a full blown photo studio being used. The service at the resort was top notch. Started with Collin upgrading out room from a 2 bed villa to a 3 bedroom ocean front with no extra charge.

This resort does not live up to what it advertises. Restaurants that should be open are closed with no explanation. It's sunny most of the day, but the ocean grill is closed which makes no sense. Even when you have a reservation at Delfino's there is no guarantee its open and they do not notify you that it is closed. When sitting on your balcony you hear construction equipment and the beeping of backing up trucks more than you hear the ocean. We have traveled to Hammock Beach Resort for years and years. Every time we arrive we are welcomed with open arms and treated like family. My husband proposed to me here, We were married here, and we spend our anniversaries here. We genuinely enjoy our time here every day and it doesn't hurt that anywhere you look you see beautiful beaches and amazing golf greens. We got our car broken into last night in the parking garage of the hotel. The car belonged to my cousin who just bought it a week ago. She had spoken to the manager Robbie. Robbie's attitude was more like, "eh" and apparently they had other similar incidents as such happened last night as well. We thought this resort is a safe place but it is not. Be very careful! This resort is not safe!!!!

We read a few unfavorable reviews and were nervous coming but we arrived Weds to a beautiful well maintained resort with the most helpful staff anyone could ask for! From the bell staff to check in to housekeeping it's all 5 star treatment. The complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas are perfect and the pools are clean. The resort is very large and spread out so do prepare for a lot of walking but we are so glad we decided to vacation here this year. We definitely will be returning

Called 3 weeks before and was told that I can check in if we arrived early. I am traveling with kids on. 5 hour car ride. We got to the hotel at 1030 and checked in. Did not get a room until 4:00pm. This was so ridiculous

Just returned from 3 days staying in 2 bedroom in the villas! Other than dirty sheets when we arrived our stay was wonderful! Kids loved the pools and beach! The bartender working the tiki bar on Saturday 7/30 was amazing and super friendly! Can't wait to return soon!
