I sent this twice and for some reason it is not on the Page. So as you know we went to the Hammock Beach Resort on Friday for an overnight relaxing stay. We live here in Palm coast so we decided to go over to the beach for the night. I have been there years ago when Ginn owners it. And again 5 years ago. The buildings and indoor pool area are in distress. The paver and sidewalks are all lifting. The ground are no longer manicured as they once were. The golf courses didn't look that great. I would have given 5 stars, but had problems checking in and wasted the 1st day of 3 days trying to get into the villa. They were going to call when the villa was ready and finally about 4:30 I spoke with a manager who was able to get it going. It was in the process of being cleaned. Finally got into the villa and we had a wonderful time. Our grand kids loved the pools, especially the water slide and the lazy river. the valet guys were potile, i did my check in it was fast (it was around 12 and the room was ready at 2:45pm), the building looks great but the inside pool smell like CRAP,it was horrible i dont have any idea why......another thing, i have a 5 years old son and couldnt go to their small water slide because he has floating, but all lifeguard were diferents and some let him and other dont, this was stupid.......the food was ok ......i ordered pizza to the room it was ok and the wings were good, also the ping pong table and fut... read more

I really didn't know what to expect after booking this place randomly through a Travelzoo website sale, but I have to say I was happily surprised! It is perfect for families. The only non-issue was upon checking it at 5pm, our room wasn't ready, but with kids and groceries in the car, the staff was incredibly accommodating and gave us a free upgrade from a 2 bedroom villa to a 3 bedroom in the main tower.
