I had appointment today for 12.05 with a GP. After waiting over 30 minutes to be called I decided to go down and query this with reception staff , and was told she was running late! As I was going to discuss my BP levels, I decided to cancel this appointment, because after waiting well over 30 minutes and listen to building work that was being carried out. I was sure my BP would be high. I no GP get busy, but surely someone could have told me approximately how long the waiting time would be when I registered.
GP is misleading patients in the name of appointments. They claim appointments open at 8:00 am and send a booking link, but when I accessed the website at 7:59 am and refreshed it continuously until 8:10 am, no appointments were available at any time. I then tried calling the GP surgery and remained on hold for 50 minutes without any response. I have attached screenshots below as evidence.
