Very cute pub in Cornwall, worth a stop on the way past
We stopped by this pub for dinner on our way back from holiday, and I'm so glad we did! The restaurant was well-kept, and the staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. They took our son's nut allergy seriously, double-checking ingredients and warning us about potential traces. The wait for food was 20 mins delicious, high-quality, and clearly benefiting from locally sourced ingredients (as their website promises). Good food helpful staff I would recommend
No nonsense, ultra trad (scampi etc.), pub-grub. Superb, chippy grade+, hand cut chips. Reasonable prices. Swift and cheerfully personable service. Located in between multiple days out in the area so if you're stuck it's a really easy option.
