Stayed at the Hideaway on a solo adventure motorcycle trip and can wholeheartedly recommend. Sarah and Darren are brilliant hosts; the food is great; the location ideal (it's on the UK Adventure Country Tracks route and near to plenty of 'green lanes'); and the place is very comfortable. Will hopefully stray again.

Our visit to Wales, was to experience trail riding (small Enduro/trail motorbikes) over the Welsh Hills, via the many legal off-road routes that our guide took us on. Halfren forest hideaway was ideally located amongst the hills and 5 mins from our trial bike centre. We stayed at Hafren Forest Hideaway in August with our extended family and had a wonderful time. There was plenty of space for everyone, and the rooms were lovely — beautifully decorated with local photography on the walls and really comfortable beds. The cooked breakfast was excellent, made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, and our host couldn’t have been more accommodating. Very welcoming,friendly helpful hosts.Home cooked breakfast and evening meals were lovely. Packed lunches were available to order.Comfortable rooms,with single beds Nice lounge with TV to relax in during evenings..Extremely handy place to stay if you are fishing locally. We will be back absolute little treasure of a place to stay.great to see that special diets could be catered for as well,if required.
