Just returned from an amazing holiday building so many happy memories. The accommodation was such high quality and was kitted out better than my own home.. stayed with 3 young grandchildren who enjoyed bikes paddle boards adventure zip wire and the pool.. ( daily!!) hardly had to leave the site but for the odd jurasycisst fossil search. We finished the holiday with pizzas from the poo up and ate them after a swim in the yurt. Such great memories. Thank you.
The Silverlake resort is very nice with great views. It was much appreciated that many of the facilities were provided free of charge, including paddle boards, kayaks, bikes and tennis court. The swimming pool is a bit on the small side and as more houses are being built, this will only get more and more crowded. Same with the tennis court. With only one court, it was hard to book a slot, and this will only get worse as more houses are built. The house we stayed in (12 Baxter Rise) was very nice with amazing lake view. Excellent properties in glorious surroundings, kids loved paddle boarding and kayaking along with the cycling, will certainly look at going again
Overall disappointed, I have complained, twice in person whilst on holiday and twice in writing, I did receive a refund and was told it was a 25% refund, but on my last communication( which I have had no response) I explained that their maths is wrong as it was only 15%. 1st night a noisy party was on site until 02.45hrs, loud music, people jumping into lake.
