What a lovely meal! We both had Hunters chicken which came with great chips, peas and a crisp side salad. The chicken was boiling hot and cooked to perfection, falling apart as you cut through it. The chips were mid way between thick and french fries. Just perfect! For both dishes we paid just £20 on the midweek special deal. We have large appetites but we were full to bursting after eating. Went there for food. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was gorgeous
Nice friendly pub with a good atmosphere
Although I did not stay at the hotel i used it to eat and drink. I stayed at the local camp site. The food and drink was excellent and the landlord was a character. Very helpful in suggesting places to visit etc.
