Every time my family and I go, the food is always excellent. The wait staff are very friendly and helpful. We were a group of eight and we had no problems with our visit. I recommend a visit to everyone! We'll be definitely be making this a regular place for dining out.

This is our go to spot for my husband and I! ❤️ Anniversary, Birthday, date night! Everything is AMAZING! Appetizers, dinner and dessert! As well as the service!
First round of food was cold had to wait for them to heat it up and then tells another customer complaint was the same said their food was cold too. Was okay after that but wasn't worth this go our money.

Not sure where these folks come from that complain about anything here, the wait can get long , but that's to be expected when the food, service and atmosphere are this good! I've been going for 15 or more years, and have never experienced anything but perfection on all sides of the restaurant. Some people are just impossible to please. Period!
After a long day of riding around the hill country we decided to try the Gristmill everyone has always had great things to say about it. The hour and 15 minute wait would make you think it was stellar. I was a bit disappointed with the food after all the hype. The atmosphere is awesome however rib eye my husband ordered was unseasoned.. and the beef tenderloin sandwich was so tough I couldn't eat it as a sandwich so I just stuck to trying to cut the pieces and eat like steak however that didn't work so I gave up and just ate... read more
