So far it has been just as advertised. It gives one more control over the price they pay for electric. It also in my case makes me be more efficient and mindful of usage.
A year with Griddy....avg cost per month = $91. Same time frame with Reliant = $185/month! I couldn’t be happier.

I've been with Griddy for a little over a year now, and I've personally had a great experience. Most of my house is set up with smart devices, so I'm able to have the A/C automatically shut off through IFTTT when electricity prices are high and then kick back on as soon as they drop. All of my lights turn off automatically when I leave the house also, keeping electricity usage lower. I have been with Griddy over a year now, and love it! I mean really love it. Last month (June) we ran the AC constantly, and my energy bill was under $50! I use the current rate feature of their app to determine when to wash and dry clothes, or use other energy hog appliances, but that is about it. With wholesale rates my bills are very reasonable.
