Lovely restaurant /pub with charming staff and olive the pub dog
Been many times on our Dorset hols, unfortunately this year it disappointed. The big oval table that seat 8 comfortably has disappeared replaced by a smaller table for 6 with poorly placed table for 4 on end making it feel like a them and us type dinner?? Weird setup. Food was terrifically salty, the chef or cook was way to liberal the salt. LEAVE the salting to the customer, they do know best, and put sea salt on the tables, it is much better. We had a fantastic family meal 2 nights ago. The food was fantastic and the staff were amazing/friendly. Would love to return one day👍
Great welcome from Tessa. Comfortable rooms. Maybe a bit of updating on bathrooms. Beautiful setting. Would recommend a detour to stay here. Food was great, sadly we were only around for breakfast. Would love to visit again.
