I have read some of the reviews that are not complimentary and just shook my head. A car park is situated behind the hotel, 5 metres away. It is a Georgian building so the rooms are small and yes, there was a cobweb in my room BUT..the bed was comfortable, I had a great couple of nights sleep. You could open the window to keep the room at a temperature you like. The breakfast was lovely, very filling. The staff were superb, professional, approachable and friendly. I will go back.
Staff were lovely. The bed was comfortable & the room itself was small and no more than ok. No wardrobe, only hangers on a wall! Tea & coffee making facilities in the room were well stocked & included hot chocolate & and biscuits, which was nice. The bathroom was tiny, basically clean although the extractor fan was in a disgusting state - obviously hadn't been cleaned for a very long time.
