Greyhound is the biggest joke I have seen in a long while. Thier employees are rude. And they leave you stuck outside in a snow storm with no shelter for 4 hours. Suggust renting a vehicle it's about the same cost...and. They won't tell you. Your bus isn't here.
Bus is an hour late, with zero advice, response, advisement, notification, or announcement from the gossiping desk girls.
Going from Champaign to Nashville for an emergency. Got to Indianapolis on time and the bus from Indianapolis to Nashville is suppose to leave at 12:10am. It is now 1:55am, and now the website is saying the bus won't be leaving until 5:30am. THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE. One or two hours late, I can understand, BUT MORE THAN 5 HOURS!?!?!? THE absolute WORST customer service!!!!!!! IF IT COULD ACTUALLY BE CALLED SERVICE!!!! At least they could use some lube if they’re going to screw you!! Think I’m kidding?! Try calling them to resolve an issue after they’ve already stranded you without leaving your luggage behind as well. “We think” you’re luggage is on it’s way to Chicago??? WTF is that? Why wouldn’t you KNOW what’s on your busses?
I had a terrible experience with greyhound this week due to our bus in Atlanta didn't show up until 8 hours later. You could only imagine the struggle that my fellow riders and I had gone thru. We get to Indy way behind on schedules and and it wasn't looking good. Again! Mrs. Brown the attendant behind the counter really stepped up and made it happen. Got the folks where they were going and threw me in a cab from Indy to Dayton Ohio at a very expensive rate. That allowed me to get home to my family and for that I am thankful... read more
I booked a trip from Chicago to Columbus and had a transfer in Indy. The first half of the trip was fine, but the second was awful. My bus from Indy to Cbus was supposed to arrive at 8:10p, and didn't make it untill 11:30p. No announcement was made about it being late and I had to ask multiple times before they gave me any idea of when it was going to come.
