My parents just became seasonals last year and I can't imagine my summers without this place now!
We're full time RV'ers, so we've stayed at many campgrounds, but I must say this place was really fun! They have activities and entertainment for all ages! Our site was nice and spacious on a manicured lawn! It's on a lake, so it would be a great place in the summer. The bathhouse was very clean, I was impressed! The only thing that was a little bit of a surprise was that if you were to have visitors, it was $7 a carload and we were there to visit family, but since we paid for our kids, they gave them a pass for the time we ... read more
I think this is a GREAT campground. We are on our second year here as a seasonal camper. We have three kids ranging in age from 9-16. There's plenty to do for all three every day that were here. As a seasonal camper this place turns into more of a community than a campground. The staff is friendly and we're lucky to have great neighbors to also! Love this campground. I've always been a mobile camper until we camped here. This was the perfect place for our family to make our permanent go to place away from home. Big bonus that it's very kid friendly. Lots of Generous & kind folks here also.
This place is very beautiful way out of the way quiet and a lot of very nice people
We have been coming to Greenwood since 1977 our Grandma's place, my daughter enjoyed it as a child now she is there with her kids as a seasonal. We were there for 11 years left and came back 4 years ago. Our grandkids talk about going camping all winter long, a great place to enjoy your family and friends, kids have so much to do, great beach, pool, restaurant, arcade and general store!! We Love having a summer place close to home. Keep up the improvements, you guys do a great job!! Great place to be!!!!
We always used to think that hauling our camper around was the way to do it. Since finding GWA we realized that was wrong. The amount of things to do and the way everyone treats you like family is what makes GWA the best value for your money. Whether you have kids or not there are always activities going on. If your undecided about this place take a chance and stay a weekend. We did that a few years back and have been seasonal every since. Keep up the good work GWA!!
