Decent campground but the water is so full of iron...ruined towels and clothing doing laundry. Even the water filter on the camper couldn't get the rust out...toilets and sinks need a good scrubbing with rust remover now. Probably won't return. :(
Worst experience ever! We were there a total of 4 hours. At the gate we were told to park in the middle of a field because my 18 year old son wasn't aloud to drive! We were given no directions to my cousins site and after switching seats and driving around the arrogant golf cart drivers who seem to act like they own the entire road we finally found it. Way to many rules & 25 to drive is a bit ridiculous.
I was not going to write a review but after giving this some thought I decided to do so. I would have given this campground a 5 star rating until this year. I have been coming here for quite awhile now on the 4th of July weekend. This year my site had a mix up and I was given a $50.00 discount off of my site for the mix up on the office's end of my reservation. So much fun for the kids and adults :) The staff was super friendly and helpful. We didn't want to leave. The Lake was clean and so was the pool. Large campsites . My kids are 7,10 And 13 they Loved every minute of this place ...
Yes it was nice,not a great site,great people at cafe,great food.General store was very handy,nice atmosphere.
Its a nice campground but lot owners cant enjoy there families company cause noone can afford to get in there everything is about money in this camprground!!...
Will stay there again. We got a coupon at the camper & rv show at Suburban showplace this year and used it to stay two nights and get one Free:). Right by the cleanest bathhouse I have ever used at a campground. Staff is really nice. We recomnend and will camp there again. Ty 4 star rating. Oh yeah love the peacocks and ground squirrels :)
