Super great family oriented place to camp. Clean facilities. Lots to do for children and adults.

We stayed over a holiday weekend and got in early on a Thursday. Premium prices, horrible quality. no water for over 6 hours on Friday, then to hear this is a normal situation. Pool was closed all day on Friday due to the water situation. DO NOT DRINK any of their water. Horrible. Even a filter could not help the situation. no power on Saturday, blown transformer. After checking in and hooking up we were informed by one of our friends that there was no water. We asked a staff member and they said it would be back on shortly. After hours with no water we found out a seasonal ran the pipe over with a lawn mower. Why the staff didn't say something when we checked in so we could fill up before we hooked up?? We finally got water at the end of the day and were emailed a $20 refund but you had to come back and camp again to use it. No thanks.. The cafe was short staffed, served customers th... read more
We had a great time the last couple days down on Canal St. Great people. Stayed right on the lake and the kids caught tons of fish. Can't wait to come back.
We are on our second year at this park. It’s clean, well run, lots to do, has entertainment, well maintained, has an upgrade happening every year. Last year the pool, this year the activity center. It’s no wonder you can’t even get a seasonal spot this year. There’s sold out. Over 1,000 campers can’t be wrong no matter what crap you read in some posts. Those are usually the drunk, belligerent, nasty people who were asked to leave. In paying for 2019 this year, I’m not giving up my piece of paradise.
We had a great time camping with our kids last July. My daughter love that are spot was close enough to the playground that she could just run to it and I like that we can still see her as she played. The kids loved the amenities especially the bouncing pillow and the carousel. The fire dancers at the Hawaiian luau were amazing. The pool was nice, and if it would have not broken down for several days while we were there this would be a 5-star review.
