Basic but comfy room, quiet and good shower. Restaurant was good and had wide selection
A basic hotel in the heart of Peebles, but pleasant nonetheless. We got a spacious room on the first floor. The room and bathroom are pretty basic but clean. A rich tea set welcomed us. Not impressed by the bathroom window locked shut. Staff were all helpful. The restaurant has good food with massive portions for the price: the pate as starter could have been a main, the burger is huge and the selection of desserts on the board is almost unlimited. Both we ordered were delicious and huge, all for a fair price.
