I hired Great American Van Lines for a full service move on August 28th, after having such a great experience in January with their service. In Maryland, the loaders arrived promptly, and worked without a break until the truck was ready to leave for California. They did such a great job loading, that I was able to load furniture in addition to the boxes I had planned to move. I recently used Great American Van Lines for a long distance move. After receiving quotes from four movers, I selected Great American based on my interaction with the salesperson and reading other reviews. Steve and Jose were right on time, did a very careful job of packing and loading our belongings, and were cheerful and upbeat throughout the day. I used Great American Van Lines to move my 4 bedroom house out of state. The movers arrived on the specific time I previously arranged on the phone with Dana - the sales representative of the company. As soon as we had the paperwork ready, the movers started packing my stuff. They took a good care of all my fragile furniture, arranged the truck pretty fast. The service was fast, reliable and courteous! We are very satisfied with our whole experience with Great American Van Lines. The contact employee we had on our moving day was professional, fast and even joked with us on the cold miserable nasty day in January. From the day we called in to reserve a day to the time they dropped it off after our move, the experience was excellent. The movers are very professional hard working people and we thank them for all they did. God Bless and we would recommend to all.
I used these guys to relocate and they were on time and real professional. Everything went as smooth as I could have expected and I am a very particular person. Some would say I have OCD but these guys handled me great. They were clean, uniformed and well equipped. They packed my fragile for me * which was such a leap of faith to let someone do that for me * and everything made it A OK so this is my extra pat on the back thanks ALL OVER!!!
Normally I move myself but this year I had a stroke and lifting heavy boxes was out of the question. Great American Van Lines took care of everything for me. Nathan took what I was worried would be a painful experience and turned it into a positive one. He goes above and beyond, following through every step of the way and making sure to be available at all times.
