My elderly mother, and her elderly roommate live at Verandah in ******, **. Two weeks ago, the drug addicts living above her had a party and broke the toilet, causing massive flooding to their unit and, consequently, the unit below it which is where my mother lives. She described waking up to a rain forest. I have been living at Waters Edge for over 9 years and never been late on my rent. This January the waters edge apartments where I reside in Georgetown stated we had to use a portal system called rent cafe. I started in 01/23. Rent went smoothly for 6 months until 07/23 when payment did not go thru for some reason even though I changed nothing. After trying to reach out to my bank who assured me nothing came thru and I had plenty of money in the back I was still hit with $162.00 in late fees with no ability to find the solut... read more

Good location, but a little rundown. CAUTION: Many hidden fees that are not disclosed upfront. Loads of paperwork to make sure you're not an undesirable of some sort - more than seems necessary. They ask you to disclose a lot about yourself - but they DON'T TELL YOU ABOUT ALL THEIR EXTRA FEES! Staff is very inflexible. They blame it on the corporate staff who are not on site.

On January 21st 2023 a leak began to show in the kitchen ceiling of my apartment. I called emergency maintenance for Cherry Creek apartments. A guy named Joseph showed up promptly. Saturday morning, January 22nd, 2023, plumbers from ***** ********showed up and fixed the leak. In order to do so they had to tear out some of the ceiling drywall. I am a current 2 year resident at the *********************** Apartments in ATX, (******, **) and just want to let everyone know of the unacceptable and extremely disrespectful behavior of their leasing agent named ****. When the property emailed residents stating that they will begin enforcing NEW towing regulations, the option was given to contact the office with any questions or concerns about any violations or tags that are placed on our vehicles.
