I would first like to say we had the best waiter I can ever remember having last night, few 13 Th for our Valentines Day dinner. his name was Mark, very accommodating, personable, and told me he would "make it happen" when I requested my dish a certain way. This man deserves a raise in my book for going above and beyond. On another note, it would be nice if you offered one or two more chicken dishes to your menu. For those who do not eat red meat and do not care much for seafood. The free range chicken was good, however I pi... read more

My fiancé and I celebrated his birthday here this weekend. I had mentioned when I made the reservation through Open Table that it was his birthday. We were promptly seated when we arrived and had the perfect table for two with a beautiful view of the city. We also were given a VIP tag for our table. The host wished him a happy birthday and then gave us menus with a birthday wish written on top as well. Our server also wished him a happy birthday several times and brought us a complimentary dessert with a candle after dinner ... read more

My fiancé and I went to the Grand Concourse for the first time last month celebrate our anniversary. The food was delicious and our waitress was wonderful. But we were seated in the room with views of the river, which was fine. However, we got the booth right next to the kitchen and bussing station. It was loud and all the waitresses and waiters kept bumping into our table when they walked by. It's unfortunate that the bussing station isn't concealed better, because it turned our first trip celebrating our anniversary into a... read more

I have worked in station square for three years and never made it in there, somehow. Today that all changed. Their brunch is to say the least, an epic experience! It's astonishingly good, they offer basically everything you could dream of and the quality is superb. I cannot stress enough just how fantastically good our service was! Our server, "Austin" truly put our needs first and managed to anticipate our requests trough silent observation and always be one step ahead of us. There's nothing like picking up your juice glass... read more

Just left a mediocre overpriced dinner. Have to say the waiter was excellent. Went to use a $100 gift card and was told it was beyond a year- expired-was rudely informed they wouldn't accept it. This was a first. DO NOT PURCHASE ANY GIFT CARDS TO THIS RESTAURANT- after one year your hard earned money means absolutely nothing. There are far better restaurants in Pittsburgh that also recognize that gift cards have no expiration.

Worked there for several years back in the late 70's worked my way up from line cook to Beverage & Gandy Dancer Mgr. Great place to work, good people and one of the premier places to dine or hang out. However, since the Landry Restaurant Group has bought the property there seems to be a downward slide.
