24 of us celebrated our Leadership Promotional Dinner and...... Our waiter was exceptional ! Food portions were perfect ! Food taste was great ! Very clean and vibrant... what more do you want ? Can't wait to find a reason to come back !
Food and service excellent. Was disappointed that we had to eat at the Gandy dancer part since we did not have reservations. After spending 80.00 for 2 brunches I wanted to be in the grand concourse part.
We went as a group of 6 yesterday for a wonderful Brunch. From the omelets (beyond accommodating with food allergies) to the donuts we can't say enough of how much we enjoyed. Can't wait to come back.
We had wanted to go for the longest time. I can see what all the rave is about . But in our case , the experience was mediocre at best . The selection and taste of the food was exquisite. The service on the other hand was deplorable. I've had better service from the wait staff at Golden Corral. We couldn't even find management to complain to. Oh well, we can at least say we did it once.
I'm so sad to say that my experience here tonight was not a favorable one. My husband and I went for dinner to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary and we were looking forward to a great evening. From the time our server greeted us, I knew she was going to be an issue. She never asked if we wanted anything other than water to drink, my husband actually asked if I could get an iced tea and she walked away before he could order one! We had a great time at the brunch yesterday. Food was amazing and the building is beautiful! I highly recommend eating here you won't be disappointed
Beautiful restaurant. No vegetarian choices. I ordered the Bruschetta Montrachet which ended up being a wet pile of chopped tomatoes on soggy "crisp flatbread". The pre-dinner rolls were excellent, however.
The Grand Concourse is one of our favorite restaurants but we will never go there on New Years Eve again. They were slammed and behind schedule so we got seated a half hour past our reservation. The waiter was terrible and we had to ask for everything - water refill, more rolls etc. After being seated we waited another 15 minutes for him to fill our glasses, take drink orders and dinner orders. Getting the bill was another story. Maybe it was the waiter, maybe the holiday, but next year we won't be there to be sure.
Last night's food was ok. My husband had crab cakes and they were a bit small in size. My potatoes were not real warm either but I did not send them back. Service was good except it took a long time fo food to come out. My lobster Bisque soup was also not that warm. The bill with drinks totaled over 100.00.
