Came for my dad's wedding a couple of weeks ago. The staff were all amazing. Poppy came down to our cabin to help us connect our own music etc that we were struggling with, even logged us into her amazon music so we could put it on. She was also doing the breakfast and couldn't have been more helpful!
Beautiful setting and a gorgeous building, really classy room, very quiet and quaint. A couple of peacocks strutting about the place adds to the character. The buffet breakfast (included) was quite limited, but very pleasant. We upgraded to the cooked breakfast too which was excellent and also very good value.
Fantastic stay from start to finish! I stayed in one of the Shepherds Huts,whilst working away for the week. Such a comfortable stay, stunning view, accommodation immaculate inside. Staff are so friendly, welcoming,cant do enough for you. Food is excellent value for money with very generous portions. Peacocks outside are lovely too! Highly recommended by me. Will 100% return when back in the area.
Grains Bar Hotel was the perfect setting for our wedding — we honestly couldn’t have picked a better place! The views are absolutely stunning and made the most beautiful backdrop for the day (and the photos!). The rooms were comfy and cosy, and having everything on-site made the whole experience so much easier for us and our guests. Mel — the food was unreal.
