I couldn't wish for better care for my Uncle. He enjoys the time that the staff spend with him, doing puzzles and playing card games. The food is lovely and there's always something he likes. They include him in making decisions about his care. He is happier than he has been in a long time and it's reassuring to me, knowing he is safe. Big thank you to all of the team and the management.
Beautiful home inside and out. Lovely, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. All the staff are very helpful when answering my questions. If after a boutique care home for your loved one, I highly recommend!
My partners mother has been permanent now at Gorway House for over 12 months and, previously had numerous breaks there for respite. I cannot fault the care she receives. Its also very clean and homely. Owners and staff are so friendly, welcoming & very obliging. Brilliant place 👏.
My Aunt was cared for at Gorway House for over two years until recently passing away. She had significant care needs and was always looked after with great care and empathy by all staff, who would bend over backwards to make sure she was as comfortable as possible. The food provided was excellent and her dietary needs were always catered for. Thank you to all the staff who looked after her so well, very much appreciated.
This is the response to a recent review, written by my sister regarding our grandfather. “this man had been in 3 previous homes, so that speaks volumes, his condition meant he retained fluid he was hospitalized and given treatment to reduce fluid the weight loss was fluid. the family were a nightmare, the gentleman changed his mind constantly regarding food ,made catering for him difficult ,good luck to his new placement , I hope he finds peace” The fact that you responded this way speaks volumes.
