Been coming here as a local for a few years each time the family visit Moray. A bit pricey for the entrance, but a lovely impressive garden and a cafe on site. Won't be returning now sadly as it's been a few times now I've found the older posher lass actually quite rude and condescending. This time it was accosting us for (correctly!) following the directions on the satnav to the car park. We planned cakes and coffee around 1pm but just had a drink as the cakes didn't look very nice. Little choice on display which looked dry and unappetising. Service with a growl from the scowling blonde 40ish waitress who couldn't have been more unwelcoming/user unfriendly if she tried. No smile or people skills on display. Lovely courtyard setting and a nice walk round the beautiful gardens and we purchased some nice veg from the shop.
Susannah was an absolute pleasure in the shop. We appreciated her knowledge, friendliness, and patience with our group. We had a wonderful time. Thank you for having us!!
