Lovely staff, Dawn on reception was great 👍 The gardens are amazing 👏 Lots of history to the building. Still owned by a family who have done a wonderful job restoring the building. Restaurant is a perfect location for special occasions.
Wonderful experience. Very comfy bed. Great service. Floral display in garden was impressive. Particularly enjoyed the patio, two guest lounges and magazines to read.
I used to work security on this when it was getting converted, I never believed in ghost stories until you experience it, Goldsborough Hall has its royalty connection when several of the Queen Elizabeth dogs was buried in the grounds and several of her children suddenly passed away with pneumonia, there is a pet cemetery there also just further down from the main entrance and the scratches on the main front door are to be believed those of the queen's dogs.
