GOLD GYM GREER SC 1- I get in check in and this short blond women told me and a very mean rude way “read this sign” which was about Should wear a mask 😷 but never says is “REQUIRED” Because if was required she wouldn’t be eating in the front desk. RecommendedWent to Gold’s gym at this location and it was a clean very well organized Jim. Ashley at the counter was very helpful. Don’t pass this gym up.
Went into the gym to cancel my membership and waited at least 10 minutes for someone to speak to me. He handed me a form and said he could do nothing...send it to ABC financial. Then ABC financial sends me an email telling me to go into the gym. They cannot cancel a membership. Seriously? Have now sent two emails to the gym and they don't answer. The customer service is beyond bad.

They aren't clean at all. I have to clean the bathroom, dressing room and shower everyday because they WON'T!!! The door handles have green slime on them like mildew in the bathrooms. If McDonough wasn't futher south I would go there daily. I do switch up when I don't feel like being a janitor.

We do have cleaning staff there most of the day and our front desk is supposed to also check every hour. We have alerted management and have started the process of fixing this issue. RecommendedThis gym has been such a huge part of my move to Greer. The community is so special and the staff is excellent. I recommend this gym to anyone who asks.
RecommendedFantastic!!! Haven’t been in a gym in 3 months...was so glad to be back. They have state of the art equipment and classes are included in the price!!
I give it 3 stars because the facility is great and pretty well kept. Machines are nice and the the free weight area is probably one of the best for any gym I’ve been to. Though they don’t get 5 stars because of their hours and other issues. For instance, workouts have become really difficult on the weekends because they are now closed at 12:30 pm rather than 5:30 pm. They say it’s temporary and that we can use the Galleria but come on, how long is temporary, August? September? November? Wouldn’t less hours mean more crowds ... read more
