A charming visit – the house feels homely, the gardens are peaceful, and the tearoom on the terrace serves lovely hot and cold food. A lovely, quieter alternative to York’s bigger attractions. We walked from the city centre via the river and knavesmire, a wonderful 1.8mile walk 👍
