It's a really nice little place. Unassuming from the exterior but there's plenty to like. The staff were all really friendly & great with the kids. The atmosphere was lovely. The food was decent straight forward pub fayre that was cooked well at a great price. They were running a midweek deal where kids ate for £1. We ended up paying around £50 for 2 x adult meals, 2 x kids meals, 2 x kids ice cream, 2 x pints of lager & 3 x j20 on both nights we stayed over. In anyone's books these days thats good value. Al geboekt in januari maar Expedia had boeking niet doorgezet. Een onaangename verrassing maar werd adequaat en goed opgelost door de manager. De aangeboden optie was perfect want hotel zou volgende dag vol zijn en wij verbleven 2 nachten.
We needed it as a stop while travelling. Good food and Mel behind the bar was a great host. Room was small but perfect for the price. Kids park opposite and seating In front of the pub so you can have a drink and keep an eye on them. Continental breakfast was fine.
