While some aspects of this hotel were quite good, it was not exactly what I had expected. The staff for the most part were polite, professional and friendly. The breakfast was pretty good although there could be more options. The room itself was small and quite outdated. The carpet needs to be replaced. There are heavy cloth curtains over the windows that are just dust collectors. The room we stayed in needs a total revamp. The bed was pretty bad. The best hotel in Inverness. I fell in love with the old style decoration, beautiful cottages, our gorgeous room, every detail is cozy and stylish. The staff is super nice and helpful. Perfect location and views of the river Ness and the city. The restaurant serves amazing local food, perfect culinary experience. Live music in the piano bar, so cool. We will return for sure.
