We had group bookings. We paid in advance, immediately when requested. Transpired they overcharged us. Their admin and booking was unorganised throughout. I am waiting since the start of summer for a refund. Persistently strung along. Avoid this place for business bookings or group events - I would not trust them with a wedding. Absolutely no confidence in them. If the customer-facing part of the business is like this, it must be total mayhem internally, behind the scenes for the pieces that we do not see.

We stayed at the Grosvenor for 2 nights in a deluxe room with breakfast. I believe the hotel was fully booked, but at no time did it seem overwhelmed by guests. The hotel is very nicely decorated throughout and didn't look tired. Check in was good and friendly. Our room was facing the Botanic gardens which was nice. There was plenty of space in the room and everything worked ok. The shower was pretty good and there was sufficient storage.
