Had a great time at this retreat. It was very peaceful and secluded, and the cabin was clean and had everything we needed, plus some bonuses (we enjoyed the badminton set!). The location was also a good base for exploring the Lizard peninsula.
Stayed at Gillan creek retreat over Easter, for our honeymoon. I was completely over the moon when we arrived. The shepherds hut and hobbit house (BBQ house) really are incredible! Finished to such a high standard...the bed was comfy, the duvet /covers all top quality ... The bathroom/fixtures all top notch. It is situated in its own meadow..there's No noise or being over looked. The creek running next to you, with the walk ways through the trees, next to the ponds, is truly magical. A big thank you to Paul and Sharon for creating such a wonderful space to escape to, and for being extremely welcoming and friendly. We had a wonderful time relaxing and unwinding by the fire pit and in the hot tub, and the retreat is situated perfectly for all the beaches, walks and activities around the lizard peninsula.
Absolutely amazing and relaxing place to visit owners thought of everything needed for a quiet enjoyable stay the hot tub was a great experience and the bbq hut was great for cooking and just chilling everything was ready and set to go as soon as we arrived spent our 10 year wedding anniversary here and will definitely be going again and would definitely recommend many thanks
