Lovely area, service was good but rooms needed a lot of attention. The rooms were very tired looking with old furniture disguised under covers etc. Our double bed was two single beds pushed together but with two single duvet sets, very odd if you ask me. Overall the hotel looked good but when you looked closely a lot of work was needed especially for it's prices. No problem with staff, the few we saw were very helpful.

Highly recommend - excellent food
Went for lunch with our elderly relatives. The food was well presented and very tasty. Limited menu choices but was we had was all excellent. The dining room carpet could do with a good clean or replacing. A general refresh would help. The gardens are exceptional and a beautiful location for weddings etc.
