I saw Dr. Christophi once. The wait time to be seen was a pretty decent chunk. I brought him 4 prior test results over the last 20 years as I've had issues since a child. He didn't even look at what tests I had had done in the past nor the results, nor did he do any type of physical exam. He was nice, but he took all of 2 minutes total to tell me he wanted to start from the bottom up to get a baseline (which is understandable, yet expensive when those tests have already been performed). Dr. Christophi, missed diagnosed my daughter. Christophi, diagnosed my daughter with perianal Crohn's. Second opinion Fissure. He started her on Humira which is an injection every two weeks for the rest of her life. Which would have cost 3k a month. I took my concern to the Mayo Clinic. After testing, she did not even have Crohn's! The nightmare this man caused my daughter and I is unforgiving!
I had a good interaction with the dr but I don’t feel as if my needs were met. I was scheduled for an endoscopy for a month out from my appointment and during the appointment I was not checked over. They would have noticed I’m an emergency. I’ve been in and out the hospital for weeks, needing the GI dr. I have been trying to get a hold of anyone in the office and after I’ve left numerous voicemails for the entire 2 weeks I’ve been calling. I have not received one call back yet
Excellent caring Professional Provider, and I felt he was caring as soon as I met him. I am thankful for his care.
Very poor experience. My visit lasted two seconds and concluded with Dr. Christophi wanted to perform an endoscopy. No exam, no nothing, just straight to an endoscopy. And boy do they charge every penny they can and some. The best part? The endoscopy was unnecessary other than to fulfill the Dr. desire to chase rare conditions that…rarely exist
