We purchased a 4 day pass which sounded great, BUT the second day we got in there were no tour guides and there wasn’t even an automatic track going to tell us what we were seeing. Oh and the guy selling us our tickets told us that the regular tour would still pick us up at 10:00pm at night wherever we were on the line... this is far from true! We were stranded and had to take a taxi back to our hotel. When I called to complain they basically said, “your ticket is like cash and we can’t do anything for you”. Just a caution b... read more
RecommendedI had a great experience on the Gray Line red buses, in particular our host Reggie! He was entertaining and very factual, the buses were slightly delayed but that’s understandable with the New York City traffic. I’d definitely try a different route the next time I’m in New York and have recommended my friends do as well!
I love Gray Line New York! Thanks to them I've experienced amazing views of the city. From the top of the Empire State Building all the way to the bottom of Manhattan where I visited the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, Gray Line New York really hooked me up. I thoroughly enjoyed the bus tour (and have taken more than one route) so I'll recommend this company to anyone and everyone :)
I got the boat tour (and brought my teenage niece and her friend). We loved the factoids from our guide, and the girls were absolutely thrilled with the views of Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty. It was the perfect way to spend a relaxing afternoon.

We waited for our bus for over an hour, only for it to drive straight past us. We were waiting at the correct bus stop. We saw several buses from other companies stop, but not gray line. Finally walked home. Very disappointing.
Worst tour director ever!! So excited to take my first nighttime tour ever in nyc! This man is RUDE AND TOLD ME THATS HOW NYC PEOPLE ARE AND TO DEAL WITH IT!!! are you kidding me! He rudely told me to shut up because I was sitting behind him and he was giving a tour. All you had to do was ask nicely! @greyline why can’t people just be nice!! 😭😭
