I had an appointment at last Friday,I came early 30 min, waiting for doctor, but when they give us an application to confirm some details, they ask me for Licensed translator, they said there is no internet connection, I can't use translator by phone. I'm not satisfied with it. I think you have to tell people before, and one more think, I ask many times to provide a translator, and they always put on the system but still have problem with it, I bring my translator, but they don't want to listen. Very bad service!!!

Picked up my Dad today following his second hip replacement operation here. Staff could not have been more courteous, friendly and professional - a credit to the NHS.

Parts of Bart’s Trust. The staff are generally friendly but are quite busy and can seem a bit harassed. 5 wks Post Op: surgery went very well but hospital could do more to preserve patient privacy as in a ward of 3 beds mine was by a permanently open door, had to rely on drawing the curtains for privacy/dignity. There was a large wall of windows which meant you had great visual access to the sunshine and greenery outside (which did a lot for my mood) but this left little wall space for beds, on my ward anyway. Staff extremely rude. Misgendered throughout the appointment. Visiting hours 3-5pm. I asked several medical professionals why I couldn’t stay with my partner before going to surgery. Nobody could give an answer. Eventually a Dr said “because you haven’t had an MRSA Swab” when I replied saying that didn’t make sense as I wouldn’t have an mrsa swob for visiting hours he rolled his eyes. I think it is unacceptable to strip patients of their support before an operation that is causing so much stress and anxiety.
