Mom & I loved our Gate 1 Travel 'Girls Trip' (Ecuador 2013)! Just booked another Gate 1 Travel 'Girls Trip' (Costa Rica 2015).
This was my first Gate 1 Travel and it was to China, but it will not be my last. I loved it, I loved our guide Rose, she is Gate 1's hidden gem. There was nothing Rose would not take care of for you. The trip was wonderful, most of the hotel fantastic, but our guide Rose made the trip amazing. I hope I get to see her again one day. I learned alot and my group was so great, we were like a little family. I'm still talking about China to my family and friends.
Some suggestion for the Iceland trip. Maybe consider the NOrthern lights hunt going out at a later time and for longer hours. We missed the appearance of the lights on Nov 20th because we left too early. Most tours schedule it for 5 hours and they leave later times as we all know theres a better chance to see it past 12midnight. For our trip's two attempts it was only done for 3 hours including the 2 hours travel time. This was my first "escorted" tour to Ireland this year and I cannot express how amazing it was! The set up was flawless from pickup day at the airport all the way to the drop off at the airport. We saw so much in those 9 days that we ever could have wished. I went to Thailand with Gate1 and everything was perfect our gidetour Lift was awesome, love her and everything was perfect, bus, hotels, food, etc etc. <3 cant wait for my next trip with you guys!!!
We recently returned from the Danube river cruise that started in Warsaw. Our guide Artur was fantastic. He took care of us all the way thru Prague. The accommodations in the hotels and on the river cruise we outstanding. The food great and the staff on the ship we really wonderful.
