We took the 9-day Italy tour and everything was fantastic! Gate 1 took care of us from the moment we arrived until we departed. The hotels were centrally located and all the local guides and tours were awesome. I would definitely take another tour with Gate 1.
I just came back from Peru trip by Gate 1 and it was the best vacation I ever had. Machu Pichu was breath taking. Everything was so organized and I saw so much in those 4 days. The tour guide "Marcos" was the best tour guide ever, just amazing, i give him 5 stars. It was hard to leave Peru and all the great people i met there. It short, it was unforgettable trip.
I did an 8 days europe trip to germany, switzerland and austria last nov 2014, it was amazing and memorable. Our tour guide Robert knew his stuffs and our tour driver Paul- did an excelent job. I highly recommend this gate 1 and Im looking forward on my next trip this year.
L C-3144977Mar 9, 2011 #26.1 Gate one start supporting elephant nature park, no more elephant riding You can support the organizations that rescue the old and injured elephants. Many of the elephants in Thailand that are used for tourism are the old/injured logging elephants smuggled from Burma. Life only gets worse for them when people ride on their backs for hours on trekking adventures. You can raise awareness on the plight of elephants. Definately do not go to the shows or ride an elephant
My 6th trip with Gate 1 was to India and Nepal in January. Never did we think we would have such a wonderful experience. The itinereary, guides, sights, hotels were great. What a value. Gate 1 trip number 7 is already booked!

Our 11th tour with Gate 1, this time to Guatemala and Honduras in January, was awesome AS USUAL. We have never been disappointed with the tours or the planning. Our guide Antonio was just great - very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating in all respects. He is a degreed archaeologist, which is handy for Mayan ruins! We are looking forward to our other tours this year, 11 day Baltics in June and India with Ranthambore in November!
Just returned from 9 Day Israel, A Journey for the Believer. What a great experience. Our guide Mika is fantastic. She has great knowledge of Israel history, culture, people, archaeology, etc. We saw and experienced so many sites. Gershon our driver kept us completely safe and comfy all the time. Made so many friends too. Can't say enough good things about Israel, Mika, Garshon, and Gate 1. Thanks. Dave & Mary Eggebrecht
This was our first trip with Gate 1. We did the 14 day Morocco. My husband was skeptical at first, but by the third day he was asking where we should go next!
