We had the pleasure of spending a getaway night at the Garrison in the middle of July. The room was outstanding, service was exceptional and the breakfast the next morning was just what we asked for. We look forward to going back soon for another staycation.
My husband and I just stayed at the Garrison Inn, beautifully period decorated, love that the fireplace can have a real fire lit...the staff....absolutely over the top...our chef Stu was so very accommodating....the teas were superb, and served in real China...I enjoyed having a cup every evening, relaxing in the lobby...the ambience....centrally located too, you can walk everywhere...we will be returning
We were up for a wedding and didn't want a standard hotel. Came across The Garrison Inn. Walking in, I loved the reception room and character of the Inn. The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and gave us some great ideas for dinner. The room was excellent. Plenty of room for the 2 of us. The location of the Inn couldn't have been any better. The staff was very helpful and the complimentary breakfast was perfect. We also enjoyed the afternoon tea and chocolates. If anybody is planning a stay in Newburyport, The Garrison In is the place to start. Kevin Vinnicombe
Stayed here for a weekend with my fiancé. We loved it here the staff was friendly and inviting and the town is great you can walk every where. We will definitely be returning here.
We stayed recently. My son, daughter-in-law and newborn. They were so accommodating. Let us check in early. Very clean & spotless. Ample free parking. Tea, cookies and chocolates so nice and served daily till 10pm. The breakfast was fabulous. Nice presentation. Very friendly staff. When I return this will be the place I stay. Central to everything. My wife and i stayed last year at the Garrison Inn for the Christmas holidays in 2014. We were so impressed by luxuriousness of the room, how the inn has great history, and amazing front office staff. The Garrison Inn was a HUGE reason we decided to come back to the Boston area this year (and hopefully many Christmases in the future).
