As mentioned in a post, I was repeatedly yelled at while requesting a media accommodation for an article. NONE of the managers responded to my email regarding the matter. Further, my significant other commented that they charge Boston prices for a Newburyport property.
My husband and I stayed at the Garrison on Sept. 29th in the Penthouse suite (they surprised us with this upgrade upon arrival) - THANK YOU it was amazing! The room was 2 stories, had a fireplace (which we DID have a chance to use because it got quite cold that evening), and a very cozy bed with luxury linens! The staff was wonderful, the amenity kit (BVLGARI) outstanding, afternoon tea amazing and the breakfast (full cooked to order with choices like Eggs Benedict) was to die for!! We have stayed here many times over the last several years. Without a doubt our top getaway! LOVE this hotel...LOVE even more the terrific staff. Always professional, attentive and very warm...great location. Cannot wait to come back. Thank you all for another fabulous experience�
Beautiful Inn right in the heart of Newburyport. This was our first time staying here and we were not disappointed. Everyone was very friendly. Our room had an exposed brick wall, high ceilings and private bath. Would definitely recommend the Garrison Inn to anyone thinking of visiting Newburyport. ps.. Book early - it does get filled up!
We spent 2 nights at the Garrison Inn. Location was convenient to shops and restaurants. We had a fantastic room with a queen bed downstairs and a spiral staircase to a separate sleeping area which was perfect to accommodate the three of us. A full cooked to order breakfast was included and we took advantage of it to start us on our day. We even spent a little time in the common sitting area with an afternoon tea. Very relaxing. What a lovely inn! We were looking for something unique (not cookie cutter), to celebrate our anniversary and we were not disappointed. Loved the architectural touches (exposed brick, etc.) and boutique feel. Our room was spacious, clean and beautifully appointed. In the morning, we enjoyed a full breakfast in the bright and inviting dining room. We look forward to visiting again!
The place is very conveniently located. It has all the modern amenities that you could want. Our room and the public areas were immaculate and fresh feeling. The staff was very friendly and helpful. As others have said, breakfast was terrific - a great start to the day.
