Fantastic cottage so cosy and internal decoration is very well thought.The kitchen is so well equipped So central to get into Middleham.Fish and chips was so great on first night .The welcome hamper was a lovely touch .Lovely walks .Nice views to sit outside and have breakfast in the summer months .
Fantastic cottage, wonderful location, booked to return in September
We had a lovely stay at this very comfortable cottage in Middleham. The cottage is extremely well equipped and comfortable - the only issue we had during our stay was a problem opening the back door but this was resolved within an hour - an HOUR!! The welcome pack was generous and interesting and much appreciated. There were plenty of logs for a couple of fires, books to read, maps and local information. We had a wonderful week in this gorgeous cottage which has been lovingly maintained with lots of attention to detail like under floor heating, a wood burner, treats for the dogs and great water pressure- all little things that make such a difference to your stay. Thanks so much to Leanne also for the fantastic book of local recommendations which we heavily relied on to explore the beautiful surroundings- so many lovely walks and pubs to visit.
We had the most wonderful stay at Kent Cottage for my birthday in January, the added bonus was the snow and sunshine! Leanne was so helpful with information beforehand on good walks, and places to eat. The cottage was so lovely, fitted out with the most beautiful furnishings. The hamper basket and wine was divine and most welcome. We ate in Middleham at Richard III on our first night, which was a busy friendly pub serving good pub grub.
