A passionIn the late 1920s Edward Gallrein Sr. started a dairy farm business in Jefferson County Ky. He started with only about 17 head and over many years it grew to over 400. His son William Gallrein Sr. continued the family tradition of dairy farming and in 1972 purchased a farm in Shelby County. The dairy business had grown to the point of milking cows around the clock! I love this place. Go buy fruits & vegetables every year. We get our pumpkins there too. Take the 3 yr old to pet animals & pick her pumpkin out.

The fruit and vegetables were great! I loved the petting zoo, and the live band was pretty awesome!

My granddaughter and I had a great time being outdoors exploring the farm, riding the train and ponies, meeting the animals and eating some great corn salsa and watermelon! Lots of room to park.

Best spot in Shelbyville for lunch!!! My kids love it here too. Yummy corn, strawberries, watermelon and all sorts of tasty goodies.

very nice place. way better than Huber's; however, it would have been nice, if they would have advertised, they weren't serving food in the cafe, during the corn festival. we're had to walk all the back out to the food truck, then all the way back to the cafe to eat at a table, and be in the cool. the salsa was very good, however, the tortilla chips must have been bagged up way ahead, because they were stale. I bought a bag in their store. the grilled corn for a $1 a cob, was delicious! we like being able to sample stuff. go... read more

This is our 3rd year visiting, however this is the first year you had to pay for every activity which I don't have a problem with but would have been nice to know this in advance and it didn't cost several tickets for certain activities
