A passionIn the late 1920s Edward Gallrein Sr. started a dairy farm business in Jefferson County Ky. He started with only about 17 head and over many years it grew to over 400. His son William Gallrein Sr. continued the family tradition of dairy farming and in 1972 purchased a farm in Shelby County. The dairy business had grown to the point of milking cows around the clock! We have gone annually for the last 6 years and my grandchildren love it and look forward to going each year. As the crowds have picked up over the last several years, they have added several different “attractions” to do at each age level. It’s a great family-friendly environment . We usually go on Sunday afternoon around 2:30 and the ticket booth line is pretty long, so be prepared to wait. This is one area that could be expanded: either put another ticket booth up or increase the sales agents to get the lines moving faster... read more

Plenty to do at gallrein farms train rides,pumpkin patch,pony rides,corn mazes and great homemade donuts.A great place for adults and kids.They also have a petting zoo.Love it❤️

This farm has multi-generational visitors year after year - that says so much about tradition and memories kids have and then take their own children there!
