A passionIn the late 1920s Edward Gallrein Sr. started a dairy farm business in Jefferson County Ky. He started with only about 17 head and over many years it grew to over 400. His son William Gallrein Sr. continued the family tradition of dairy farming and in 1972 purchased a farm in Shelby County. The dairy business had grown to the point of milking cows around the clock! Wristbands were a complete rip off. I was told it was for unlimited play and then found out that certain things don’t take it. It is either unlimited or it is not. Completely lied to. Will head to a different farm next year!
RecommendedMy company picnic for SGWS was held at Gallrein Farms and what a great time we had....petting zoo, hay rides, gift shop, etc...it is so amazing to share moments like this with co workers as well as the people we love! Such a beautiful place. You have to respect how much work goes into running a farm and to be able to share it with the community. We met the owner, Bill, he was quite charming and pleasant to talk to...please support this wonderful place and visit...would definitely recommend coming here and we will be back!

Great place for little kids
What a fantastic farm! There are so many attractions and rides for both kids and adults. The wrist band is a steal for all that you get to do! This is definitely going to be our new Family Fall Fun place. I do suggest if you’re here on the weekend and are going to eat at the food trucks, do so early. At 4:00 pm one had completely ran out of food and the other was close behind. A big thanks to the staff as well, you all rock!!

Had so much fun during their fall festival. Our kiddos loved the activities, and the hay ride. We enjoyed the food trucks (but wished there were more) and the doughnuts! We brought home a beautiful pumpkin for our front porch.
Had a great time on a field trip for my son’s class. Hay ride to the pumpkin patch was really fun!
