A passionIn the late 1920s Edward Gallrein Sr. started a dairy farm business in Jefferson County Ky. He started with only about 17 head and over many years it grew to over 400. His son William Gallrein Sr. continued the family tradition of dairy farming and in 1972 purchased a farm in Shelby County. The dairy business had grown to the point of milking cows around the clock! love the atmosphere and the food there
Went for the first time yesterday and this will definitely be our spot for fall every year! Amazing grounds with plenty to do, fair prices and kind customer service. VERY clean bathrooms which adds bonus points for me. My only gripe is that the items in the cafe/shop didn’t have ingredient labels so as a family with allergies I wasn’t sure what we could enjoy and the staff wasn’t sure either- but no one minded that I packed our lunch from home! Over all this place is a win!
