I couldn’t recommend these lodges more! I have stayed in Red Kite and Kestrel lodge and neither have disappointed! The hosts are so welcoming and on hand for any help you may need. The lodges are fantastic for all ages with beautiful views from the balconies and catered so well to small children. Travel cot, stair gates and high chair available on request which is so handy! So much to do locally but also you could happily sit and take in the view all day! I can’t wait to come back!
Me and my family have stayed at these lodges numerous times - I can safely say that if you’re wanting a peaceful, beautiful and relaxing experience, then this is the place would want to visit. The views are incredible and the surrounding area is incredible for exploring and hiking. Lots to do for adults and little ones! The lodges are beautifully decorated and incredibly clean! Highly recommended!
Having not seen the kids or our two year old granddaughter over the Christmas period we chose to meet up at red kite lodge for New Year instead. Having used the Galloway Lodges in the past we knew it would be a safe, tranquil and beautiful base to spend some time together. We absolutely love the lodges. We were so lucky to find this place many years ago and we return as often as we can. Can highly recommend to anyone seeking a fantastic break in Scotland. Well situated for the beach or forest walking, loads to do and see close by. Lodges are very well presented. Clean, comfortable and very well equipped. We're having another wonderful holiday with Galloway Lodges. My feelings are the same as every other time we've been, it is our Happy Place. Staying with Galloway Lodges in beautiful Sandyhills is perfect for us. The Lodges are clean, very well equipped & so comfortable. It's home away from home. They're dog friendly too which gets its own 5 stars from us! Sandyhills Beach is just a 5 minute walk away. There's so many other gorgeous walks in the area too.
