They are the yoga mob. They took a pre-existing product (yoga studio app) that individuals had already paid for and are now telling them to pay for it over and over again. If we let them get away with this, who knows what "changes" they will make in the future to rob us.
The yoga studio app was the best until your newest update, which meant to force users to pay a monthly subscription. I paid $4.99 for the app and now I can't use it as I had for many months because I won't be paying you monthly. I really don't understand how you can screw your loyal customers over in this way. I used to recommended you to everyone and I am so sorry I ever did. You guys messed up big time.
Gaiam is a fraudulent company! The sold yoga studio app to hundreds of thousands of people then spit in everyone's faces when the stole are content Via an update and tried to force us to pay a monthly fee. Obviously they don't believe in Karma but I do and it's about to catch up😉
Ruined their app which used to be great. Charging a subscription for it now when it used to be a one time fee, which I already paid over a year ago. Funny a yoga company would have such bad ethics in their business practices. Never supporting this company ever again in regards to any of their products.
Very upset with Gaiam for forcing people who have already paid for unlimited access on their yoga studio app to now "suscribe" for at least $20/year. I can not recommend this app to anyone anymore.
Let's take a moment to consider the principles of how to treat others based on GAIAM's example through the Yoga Studio App fiasco. If we all live by these principles, I'm sure the world will be a very different place. 1-It's okay to steal back what someone rightfully paid you for if you feel like it; 2-Right and wrong is how you define it, and other people's feelings don't matter, 3-The history of a relationship does not matter. It's what a person can do for YOU today that matters 4-Greed is fine, as long as most people won'... read more
Totally appalling! I bought this app a couple of weeks ago, and now you force me to "update" to a subscription model that I don't want. I ALREADY PAID for this app and the content, so why should I pay again? You are going to lose your happy customers because of your greed. Very short sighted... If I buy a Gaiam yoga mat, will you come at night to steal it and resell it to me in the morning??? Well I'll never know, I'll be sure to NEVER buy from Gaiam again. Namaste.
I used to love the app. Now I'm sad to say that despite paying for it, they've taken my content away and I have to pay a subscription to use it. Bye bye Yoga Studio, it was nice while it lasted :(
